Todd County Career Path Student Receives Multiple Certifications

Congratulations to TCCHS Senior Isaac Goodman!
He successfully qualified by showing the ability to weld in:
SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
He has been tested by Bend Test using AWS (American Welding Society) testing methods and received the following AWS certifications:
1. SMAW – Flat 1–G
2. GMAW – Flat 1-G Short circuit
3. GMAW – Horizontal 2–G Spray transfer
4. SMAW – Vertical 3-G

This shows three different testing dates and certifications for the above, but some of the certifications listed carry additional certifications. They are as follows:
3. GMAW – Horizontal 2-G Spray transfer (includes Flat position certification) giving two certifications for one test.
4. SMAW – Vertical 3-G (includes Horizontal and Flat position certifications) giving three certifications for one test.

All these certifications include metal up to .375 (3/4) inch.
