The Laity and Ministers Alliance of Todd County is sponsoring the Martin Luther King, Jr Program on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 3:00pm in the Todd County Central High School Auditorium. Guest speaker for the program will be Reverend Mike Cummings from Elkton Baptist Church.
There is also a MLK Banner Contest sponsored by the Todd County Standard. The theme this year for the banner contest is “How has Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream changed our world?” First place will receive $30, second place will receive $20 and third place will receive $10. Please have all banners at the Elkton City Park by 2:00pm on January 19, 2020. The judging will take place at that time. All entries are welcome.
At 2:30 on January 19, 2020, there will be a MLK March that will take place from the Elkton City Park to the TCCHS auditorium. The program will start at 3:00. The community is invited to come and join in the activities.
