Drew Pool has been hired as the new head coach of the Todd County Middle School boys basketball program. Coach Pool graduated from Trigg County High. He earned his Associate of Applied Science (Criminal Justice Core) from Hopkinsville Community College, and a Bachelor of Science (Criminal Justice and Communication Arts) from the University of the Cumberlands.Coach Pool coached high school football at Todd County Central High School from 2011 to 2013, he also coached the Todd County Central High School boys basketball team from 2019 to 2021, and the girl's high school basketball team at Russellville High School for the 2021-2022 season.Coach Pool stated, "I'm very honored to be selected as the new boys basketball coach. I'm excited to get to work with the young men of Todd County. The community will see the toughness, competitive fire, and relentless hustle our team will show each game."Todd County Middle School Principal Ms. Kim Davis states, "Coach Pool is dynamic and his vision for our boys basketball team is exciting. We are looking forward to watching our student athletes develop under his leadership."
